Medicare has approved a new technology add-on payment for an inpatient radiology artificial intelligence solution, according to Radiology Business. The federal insurance program for seniors established the reimbursement to support the adoption of advanced imaging tools in hospital settings.
Under this decision, Medicare will pay a maximum of $137.53 per case for Aidoc's CARE (Clinical AI Reasoning Engine) Multi-Triage CT Body tool, reports Radiology Business.
